Prodigy Aerial Sling with O-Rings and Bag

The fabric used for Prodigy Slings is woven with a tricot warp knit, giving them a small amount of bounce (Low-Stretch does not mean zero-stretch), making it easy to set the correct height without having to compensate for too much stretch once your weight is in it. They have enough stretch for drops.

You can also use the same 8m or 10m length as Aerial Silks!

At 2.8m/110 inches wide, these are perfect as a Aerial Sling (silks hammock/loop) and you can also use them for Yoga if our 6m lengths aren't long enough or you want to cross the disciplines.

These silks have a beautiful shine, giving a fantastic look to any performance while remaining grippy enough to climb easily. They also have just enough weight to stay in place for you without weighing you down while wrapping.

Prodigy has also included a reusable bag with these silks, perfect for safely carrying and storing your silk.

Aerial Slings are typically rigged like a Hammock from a single point.

Prodigy Aerial Slings are supplied with O-rings, and other accessories are sold separately.

These could include carabiners, a 3 Toe rigging plate, or for more separation a 5 Toe rigging plate. You can also rig the Aerial Slings using the Prodigy Elevate - Figure 8s.

All Aerial fabrics are prone to reaching high temperatures during long or high-energy slack drops, sometimes resulting in small melted patches and even holes. These holes are caused by the friction of the fabric rubbing against itself and the performer during high-speed movement. Nylon and low-stretch fabrics are more susceptible. You should always take care when practicing slack drops and be aware of the high amount of friction you can generate during these drops.

If you regularly perform slack drops, you will need to inspect the entire length of your fabric regularly, and the fabric will need to be replaced more often.
