Aerial equipment should never be used unsupervised, please consult a professional.
Everything below assumes you have a suitable and safe rigging point, like a professionally installed rigging point or a reputable and rated freestanding rig. Not every home/studio will be the same, so we cannot advise on this part. If you haven’t established a safe rigging point, please do this first with the help of a structural engineer/experienced rigger/professional familiar with what you're hanging and where you're hanging it.
Trio-Foam Impact System
Full 30cm Studio Depth
Traditional 30 cm deep crash mats are notoriously awkward to store and move. The F300 solves this with a central hinge that halves its footprint to 125cm × 150cm × 60cm when packed down. Six heavy-duty, padded nylon handles allow easy manoeuvring through tight doorways, around stairwells, and into small vans.
Studio-Floor Stability
Built for high-demand studio environments, the heavy-duty velcro flaps lock the two halves together, forming a reinforced top sheet that feels just like the rest of the mat, eliminating awkward dips or weak spots on landing.
Underneath, four grip-strips keep the base firmly anchored to polished wooden floors, while the flexible sidewalls allow smooth, even compression across the entire 250cm × 150 cm area.
Vacuum-Packed & Easy Assembly
To eliminate expensive pallet freight and pass the savings on to you, all six foam inserts are industrially vacuum-compressed. Unpacking is simple: robust twin zips run along the durable, wipe-clean cover, making it quick and hassle-free to slide the expanding foam layers into place. Both the outer casing and inner foam layers are individually replaceable.
Certified BS EN 12503:1 Type 8 Compliance
Professional spaces require certified protection. The F300 is CE marked and tested in accordance with British and European standard BS EN 12503:1 (Type 8) for high-impact sports and gymnastic mats. The heavy-duty PVC cover is flame-retardant with formal Certificates of Conformity available on request to satisfy all insurer, venue, and council requirements.

FAQ
Can the F-300 be used while folded?
No. The F-300 must always be fully unfolded and secured with the central Velcro flaps before use as a crash mat. Using the mat folded compromises the engineered air expulsion system and internal foam alignment.
How long does the vacuum-packed foam take to fully expand?
The foam inserts begin expanding immediately once the packaging is opened and are usually ready to insert within a few hours. We recommend allowing 24 hours for the foam to reach its full volume and
optimal firmness before intense use. You can speed up the expansion by carefully teasing open the expanding edges.
Will the folded mat fit in my vehicle?
When folded, the F300 measures 125cm × 150cm × 60cm. It easily fits into small vans (such as a Ford Transit Custom or VW Transporter) and even some large estate cars or SUVs. Please check the measurements if unsure.
How do I clean and care for the mat?
The hard-wearing PVC cover can simply be wiped down with a damp cloth and mild, non-abrasive detergent. Avoid harsh solvent cleaners.
Replacement covers and individual foam layers can also be purchased separately if ever needed.
What is the life span of the F300 crash mat?
These mats are designed to last for many years of intense use. Foams designed for impact do see a very gradual performance decrease over time. You should consider replacing the foam core when the performance decline becomes noticeable. We offer full foam replacements online.
