Great way to start playing

I love these poi, they look like glow in the dark fish; slow and flowy. Not ideal when it's very windy, they have greater resistance, but that that's when I whip out the ribbon poi. I bought both for a festival. I'm a beginner and I'm very pleased with them, having already tried them at a Fire Dance class the week before, however, I thought the length would be adjustable but I can't seem to change the length, not so much a problem for me as I'm 156cm tall.

These POI are excellent and I couldn't be happier with my decision to purchase these.

They provide enough weight to be able to respond to your movements and yet not excessive weight.trol).

The fabric provides a certain amount of drag which is convenient for a beginner and helps train different strenght/speed levels before eventually proceeding to a faster POI, furthermore being able to spin at different speeds is quite cool because the fabric behaves differently at different speeds so it's also a nice visual display.

I love these POI and will certainly purchase my next POI from Firetoys!

These poi are simply fabulous! The veils provide just a nice amount of drag making them spin a bit slower than standard sock poi (for example) and, as a new learner, this is a big plus. As is the fact that they dont weigh a ton, so its not such a problem when you hit yourself. The veils also create a lovely visual effect as they spin and look super beautiful when spun by newbies and professionals alike.

Well made, good weight, very pretty. I almost had to keep them instead of giving them to my niece...

My daughter has had great fun playing with these poi. They are a bit too big though and i only noticed after I'd bought them that there is a smaller kids version available

These poi are well made and striking in their strong pink colour - my daughter loves using them and they have inspired her to try new tricks and moves.

i ordered these poi because i wanted something that was a different experience spinning, and i wanted the delicate veil-like look, and these poi do feel different when i use them and they perform wonderfully! Chose the Pyropixies Spiral Poi because they are flowy and pretty. They do flow nicely and smoothly. They are pretty, yet it turns out the guys like to use them too! Lightweight but not too light. Tails not too long.
Used express shipping and the package was delivered in less than 2 days.

I've been very happy to receive my Pyropixies Spiral Poi, I am not a fan of orange generally, and certainly not luminous orange, but found they were the only colour I fancied at the time. When the poi arrived I was rather taken with the shade that was actually used, very much a deep burnt orange type colour, more a kin to rust than luminous orange... however, I also ordered many colours of these poi for a revue that a community performed about six years ago and over all have noticed the colours of the flare fabrics do vary a little, but are generally much better than the description and only very rarely need returning.

I have really enjoyed playing with my poi and practicing different moves/patterns... I hope many others will come to enjoy the art. :)

Have had a great time with these poi. Excellent weight and length of tail. Just long enough to trail in the water at the beach :) as a side note they look beautiful in flight.

I bought these after contemplating taking up spinning again, and I have to say I am extremely impressed.

My old poi were much heavier, so I was a little worried by the lightness of these poi, but they spun so well I was in awe of it all as I tried out a few basic weaves.

The tails themselves look great, and people I have performed for have said they love the effect it gives.

They work great for beginners too, as I let my little brother try them out, and because they are so soft and light, there were no tears from being bashed in the head.

Overall a fantastic buy, and a great investment for every spinner.

I'm simply amazed by these little beauties, there's just no better way to put it.

They act similar to your standard tennis ball poi, which is really great, as pretty much anyone of any level can use them.

However, the big draw of these above standard tennis ball or sock poi is the veils. I use that word purposefully, they look so much like veil poi (look them up, they're amazing) it's incredibly, and yet they're much easier to control.

The string length is a bit short than I'm used to, and significantly shorter than my split meteors, but the long veils at the end make that a requirement, as you'll soon see when you try them. The veils also mean you'll have to relearn a couple of tricks, to a small extent of course, as the veils do drag back a bit, and can tangle much easier than the standard ribbons of normal poi.

All of that said, my reccomendation? BUY THEM! Seriously, the veils on these things are better than any I've ever seen, and I'm using these more than my regular sets now. Trust me, grab a pair (I think white is nicest, really ghostly look), at this price it's a bargain.

I purchased the Pyropixies Spiral Poi as my first set about a year ago and I still adore them. They are ideal to me for learning the basics and finding their flow. The beanbag body is extremely forgiving which was good for me because I smacked myself in the face and extremities pretty often. The scarves look beautiful on top of slowing down the poi so your not flailing around so badly or even if you are it looks pretty. Thanks to these poi I quickly got comfortable with swinging and am not able to spin my weighted flowtoys with little fear. ;P I highly recommend Pyropixies Spiral Poi for both beginners and experienced people alike.

Easy to use, they are great for learning poi and light exercise for the heart and body. They also look pretty. Not too heavy or too light.
