Travel Hoop

The 20mm tubing and 90cm outer diameter make these hoops a great all-rounder, which folds to half the size for easy transportation.

90cm is big enough that beginners will find it easy to keep the momentum going without being so heavy that kids can't use it. Unlike heavier-weighted hula-hoops, these are unlikely to bruise your hips. If you want to add tricks to your hoop dance routine, you can do it with this size.

On first opening and assembly, the hoops need to sit in their full size for a little while to resume a fully circular shape.

Hot Tips

Firetoys Hot Tips are removable wicks that quickly clip onto your hoop to turn your regular hula hoop into a fire hoop instantly.

The flexible stainless steel wire rope is capable of absorbing the impact from drops and limits the heat transfer from the wick to the hoop. The wicks are made from a 350mm length of 50mm wide para-aramid webbing rolled into a wick that is approximately 35mm in diameter. These wicks will give you decent-sized flames with a good burn time.

The clamps and can be loosened, tightened or opened completely with a flat head screwdriver.

Really nice hoop, watch out when unfolding/folding

I tried this at training and loved the weight and feel. Now I ordered two and even after watching the instruction video I managed to break one. I'll give the other one to my fitness trainer to unfold and will probably never fold it again. Again, I enjoyed the unfolded version, but be really careful when opening and closing. edit: I completely opened the lock (not only loosening the lock as shown in the video instructions), that worked fine. Never refolding it, though.

Light, foldable (tho still not totally sure how 😆)

To fold the hoop down simply unclip and push the two ends together to form a smaller second circle and reconnect. It takes a little bit of force, sometimes kneeling on the bottom part while you push them together can help! Happy hooping!
