Voltige Braided Free Rope (Corde Lisse) - Red

This corde lisse (aerial rope) is made from red cotton "braided" web rope. It's supplied with a matt black, semi-permanent triangular quick link and cotton base loop.

Braided free ropes have a smoother feel compared to the 3-ply ropes because they have pronounced ridges than the 3-ply ropes. However, the surface of the braided free rope is a bit less soft and comfortable on the hands. Beginners will likely find these aerial ropes harder to climb than the 3-ply ones.

The braided aerial ropes start out with a reasonably large diameter but they squish a bit in the hand which helps the grip. They will pull out and become a bit thinner with use. Due to being a bit heavier than 3-ply ropes there is more weight to lift when up high and wrapping.
