Bar Flair
Bar flair is a form of juggling or object manipulation that uses bottles, cocktail shakers and glasses. It can be done as a purely performance art, often using plastic bottles and water to avoid breakages and spilling precious spirits. However, it is also done ‘for real’ in bars using glass bottles and mixing real cocktails at the same time providing a spectacle for patrons of such establishments. There is also a competitive element to bar flair with regular national and international competitions.
Bar flair is sometimes known as flairtending or extreme bartending.
We stock a range of practice, shatter proof, bar flair bottles, mainly from Flairco, in 750ml and 1 litre. These bottles are designed to be the same size and shape as common spirit bottles to allow you to transfer tricks to the real thing once you’re ready.
We also stock shaker tins, 16oz and 28oz, that you can catch the bottles in, juggle alongside them and pour your liquid into.
Bar flair tricks are often combined with some magic and sleight of hand to complement the manipulation.
