Win the most cards by scaring away the other animals from the watering hole.
Kariba is very fast, very fun, and very simple card game that everyone will enjoy!
2–4 Players, 15 min, 6+
All the animals are thirsty after a hard day in the savannah, so they all head to the watering hole.
They all want to have a drink, but the largest animal will scare away the smallest animal. Unless you’re the mouse, who can scare away the elephant!
The player who scares away the most animals wins!
This is a very clever card game with very simple but engaging game play and very fun illustrations. You can play with up to 4 players, but it works brilliantly with 2. The game recommends 6+, but younger kids will enjoy it, too!
It’s also very small, with minimal set-up, so you can take it and play anywhere!
1 water hole
Place the small game board (watering hole) down, shuffle and deal out 5 thirsty animals (cards) to each player.
Each player takes turns to place one or more of the same animals down at their corresponding position (1-9) at the watering hole.
When 3 or more of the same animals are placed, they will scare weaker animals (lower number) away! The player who scared the animals away keeps the fleeing creatures face down in front of them. Each critter is worth 1 point, and the player with the most points wins!
