After a brief hiatus in 2015, Play Festival is back in 2016! This summer will see Play relocate to Lincolnshire with all the fun happening between the 17th and 21st of August.

Tickets are on sale now! You can get them over here. There are a limited number of early bird tickets that will save you £15 on a full adult price. The early bird tickets are limited by number rather than date this year so you better get your skates on!

(Buying tickets early also helps the lovely festival organisers plan and organise more easily. Not to mention reducing stress!)

The brand new venue is Cabourne Parva in Lincolnshire. Cabourne Parva has been the venue for JuggLINCOLNvention and is a beautiful venue with large open spaces for playing in and workshops to be held. There's plenty of room for a big top or two as well. There's a wonderful forested area which has a secluded stage hidden in it. There's an indoor bar and all the facilities have proper walls (no portaloos!)

Play has always been very family friendly and this year will be no different. There's a kids' play area at Cabourne Parva anyway but Play will lay on children's entertainment and there will be loads of activities and workshops they can join the big kids (adults) in.

We're sure all the usual entertainment and activities will be back this year too. That includes a variety of shows; open stage, fire show, gala show and more. Workshops in every circus discipline and for every level will surely be on the cards as well as slackline and aerial areas. We suspect there will also be a great range of bands and DJs in the evenings so you can dance the night away. All these details are still to be announced though.

If you've not been to Play before you can get hyped by reading our review of Play 2014.
