European Yo Yo Championship 2014 EYYC 2014The European Yo Yo Championship (EYYC) have confirmed the venue and dates for the 2014 contest. The EYYC is back in Budapest, at the PeCsa music hall. The competition will take place over three days, starting on the morning of the 21st February 2014 and closing on the evening of 23rd.

Last year's winners were:

1A: János Karancz (Hungary)

2A: Dave Geigle (Germany)

3A: Michal Jaško (Czech Republic)

4A: Lorenzo Sabatini (Italy)

5A: Ján Hlinka (Slovakia)

1A Open: Kota Watanabe (Japan)

1A Women's: Julia Aleksandra Gutowska (Poland)

Representing the UK at the 2013 contest was our very own Stephen Langley who placed third in the 3A division. Langerz will be back for 2014 and we wish him the best of luck.

Again, this year, the man to watch is János Karancz from Hungary. Not only did he win 2013's 1A division with a score of 99.12%, beating second place Gregorz Wójcik from Poland by over 23%, but János went on to win the world 1A contest later in the year.
