CircusMASH was founded in 2010 with the aim of developing circus in the West Midlands at both the grass-roots, community level and at a professional level.

Since its inception CircusMASH has grown into a thriving network and their classes and reach has grown. They recently acquired a new training space, All Saints Centre. With help from the community they transformed the centre into a bright and welcoming space for all the community.

Now they want to take it even further and install a new, high quality aerial rigging system and the accompanying apparatus. CircusMASH will use this equipment to continue introducing and teaching aerial arts to members of the community, both young and old. It will also be used by more experienced performers and professionals to develop high level skills and acts facilitating circus careers in the area and inspiring more people to discover the joys and benefits of circus as a hobby or profession.

To do this CircusMASH needs your help. They've started a fundraising campaign called Operation Circus. This four-week crowd funding campaign will be accompanied by a different theme each week: Introduction week, Why Circus Week, Gameshow week and Celebration week. You can keep up to date with what's going on by visiting CircusMASH's website.
