Circus City, Bristol's biennial circus festival starts on the 8th October 2015 and runs for four weeks. The festival consists of shows, workshops, talks and more across many indoor and outdoor venues across the city.

Among the many amazing shows are some of the best UK and European contemporary circus including; Bromance, winners of Circus Maximus; Hogwallops from Lost in Translation Circus and tight wire walking the Bullzini family. That's just a small selection of the circus spectacles you can witness during the festival.

There are also workshops and masterclasses running as part of the festival. These include free beginner and family taster sessions run by Bristol's Hoop Jam, no less than three clowning workshops and masterclasses in acrobatic from the Barely Methodical Crew.

Bristol's Circus City is hosting talks and exhibitions about circus, circus history and the future of circus. These include events hosted by Circus Futures, Alice Allart's photo exhibition, the Circus Diaries and more.
