Aerial Rope. Copyright: Ewa Figaszewska. Performer: Emily AoibheannMy Aerial Home are running another of their excellent rigging courses. If you want to learn how to correctly and safely rig aerial circus apparatus such as trapezes, aerial silks, aerial hoops or corde lisse then this is the course for you.

A fantastic two day course that takes you through the theory and practice of essential rigging techniques, the law and safety.

Suitable for training and professional aerialists and for people who work with aerial performers (riggers/theatre technicians). The course is both classroom learning and practical teaching. There is a questionnaire examining your understood knowledge and a certificate of attendance and completion is issued. You will not be a “qualified” rigger but will have a better understanding of the rules and safety issues around rigging this art form.

The course costs £250 and runs over Monday 28th and Tuesday 29th July 2014 in Beckenham, South London. The course is run by Bryan Donaldson of High Performance Rigging.
