Before you can order from us we require you to read and understand these terms and conditions. The terms and conditions should be read in conjunction with our other information pages. We have tried to make all information as clear as possible but if you have any queries please contact us.

Product Information

All product information shown on the website is believed to be correct and accurate. However we regret that we cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions.

We cannot be held responsible for the total accuracy of the information that is published,though every effort is maintained to keep the information as accurate and up to date as possible. Therefore, all the actions taken by users of the goods obtained via the website are their own responsibility.

It is impossible to publish all the technical details of the products, therefore all descriptions and images serve to give approximate description of the product. If you have any queries we’re always happy to help.

Ordering and Delivery

You can order products from us in the following ways: i) via this website ii) by telephoning 01273 607088 iii) via Paypal iv) via electronic bank transfer. Not all the options listed are always available. Please contact us if you require help with payment processing and systems.

All prices displayed on the website are in Pounds Sterling and include VAT at the current UK rate but exclude delivery charges which will be added when you checkout.

The price you pay is the price displayed on this website at the time we receive your order except in the instance where an error has occurred with the data making up the information which is projected through the website. In the event that an error is discovered with the price of any goods you may have ordered, we will inform you as soon as we can whereupon we will give you the option of amending and processing your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, we will give you a full refund.

When you place an order you are offering to buy the product at the stated price. We will send you an automated email as a confirmation of your order details. This email does not necessarily mean we can meet your order.

Orders are subject to availability. All our stock levels are displayed on our website and these levels real, live and updated throughout the day and night, 365 days a year. In the rare situation that a stock error results in an item from your order not being available, we will contact you at the earliest opportunity to discuss your options. If the product is available and the details of the order are correct, we will send you a further email specifying delivery details and confirming the price of the products purchased. This email will be deemed as acceptance of your order.

If the product is not available or the details of the order are not correct (your address for example) we will contact you by telephone, email or both. (See Order and Delivery Irregularities page for more details).

We cannot be held responsible for sudden stock shortages or manufacturing delays.

Firetoys may cancel any sale and not supply products if it is reasonable to do so and may change or discontinue the availability of products at any time at its sole discretion. If an order is cancelled, any payment made for the products will be refunded in full. This does not affect your Statutory Rights (i.e. all the stuff you are legally entitled to as a consumer).

You take ownership of the products as soon as they have been delivered to the address detailed on your order.

Any damage to or shortage of the products in transit (i.e. with our couriers) should be noted on the delivery/consignment note at the time of delivery. Transit damages or shortages should be reported to us as soon as possible.

You should inspect your order immediately after delivery and inform us of any damage, error or fault as soon as possible

You have the right to return any product to us for any reason within 45 days of delivery as long as it is in a resalable, “as new” condition. We guarantee all of our products to be free from manufacturing defects for 12 months. (See the Returns and Refunds page for more details on the last three points).

None of the above affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Privacy

Firetoys will not share, sell or pass on any of your details to third parties, except in some cases where we supply telephone numbers and email addresses to our couriers for the sole purpose of facilitating delivery.

We do not store any of your payment details.

Legal Disclaimer

Firetoys does not sell fire props to children under 18. If you are under 18, you should have bought these products under adult supervision and should continue using them under adult supervision at all times.

Due to the nature of some of the equipment provided, Firetoys Ltd. and all associated people and organisations accept no responsibility or liability for any injury, accident or death caused by any of the products supplied. It is the responsibility of the performer to take the necessary precautions and to minimise fire hazards.

You use products at your own risk.

Safety and maintenance sheets are provided with all fire and other dangerous products. These should be carefully read and fully understood before use. Should a fire or other dangerous prop be delivered without relevant accompanying paperwork please contact us as soon as possible so we can send you out the correct accompanying documentation.

All the specialist fire equipment, balance equipment, skill prop or other potentially dangerous equipment provided by Firetoys Ltd is designed specifically for professional performers only. A high level of proficiency should be attained with your prop before even considering the use of fire. Proper training is recommended, and the use of training books and videos is advisable before lighting any fire toys.

It is the user’s responsibility to purchase third party insurance before performing with fire. Equity and Country Mutual Insurance both provide these services in the UK. Firetoys strongly recommends all users have proper insurance.

Illegal copying and reproduction of any materials without written consent violates international copyright law and will be pursued. Commercial websites and organisations caught using our material without permission will be invoiced in full for all materials used. Non-commercial use of our material is allowed with written permission from us and is virtually always granted as long as a link back to Firetoys.co.uk and full credits are given.
