Contact Poi

Contact poi are the latest innovation in the world of poi spinning. Stage balls are attached to strong cord and a counterweight, often a club knob, is fixed to the handle end. They allow contact juggling techniques to be applied and mixed in with regular poi moves. They are also great for doing poi throws as they are equipped with a counterweight as well as oversize poi head. Some innovators in this style of poi include Asaf “Poiboy” More, Cyrille Humen and Ronan McLoughlin.
