Walking globes are one of the more advanced balancing props, but once mastered can become the basis of many more complex tricks and routines.

The idea is to get onto the globe itself and then maintain the balance by taking small steps forwards, backwards and sideways. Once balance has been achieved, you can start using it to move around (walk backwards to move forwards) and then learn to juggle and perform other tricks on it. 

The RP walking globe is not as heavy as the Voltige version which makes it a little less stable underfoot but a lot cheaper.  The surface is smooth plastic so it’s worth using bare foot or with decent rubber soled shoes.

These globes have a 70cm diameter and are available in three colours.

This walking globe is quite big to transport but should fit in most cars making this globe good for teaching and workshops. It's also very tough and hard wearing.
