Its large size allows easier connection of multiple elements and the wide opening helps connection to thick anchors.

The texture of the locking sleeve facilitates locking and unlocking the karabiner.

The keylock system helps prevent snagging of the karabiner during manoeuvres.

The "Triact" gate is a double action auto-lock mechanism where the collar has to be slid along the gate before rotating, an action which is almost impossible to acheive inadvertently.
