The Firegathering 2006

| Another year and another Firegathering in the pipe. We all can't wait for this year's event as it promises to be bigger and better than ever with more quality acts, activities and a greater capacity. For those of you who don't already know; The Firegathering is a weekend aimed at providing a space for the performance and enjoyment of circus and performing arts.
The Firegathering is an annual meeting for members of The Firegathering Society to come along, learn new skills and have a great time. A great emphasis is made by the organisers on creating an inviting and sociable event, providing a platform for new performances and experimentation. The Firegathering has grown year-on-year with band of loyal supporters and some fantastic contributions. Now in it's third year the event is continuing on it's successes by increasing the capacity and bringing some excellent artists to the stage.
This year there is a change of venue to a beautiful green field site in Sussex. Here's some of what's on offer:
- Main tent: Live music, cabaret, circus performances
- Renegade stage (open mic)
- Workshops: circus, juggling, acro, Tai-chi
- 24 hour ambient chai tent café
- Honestly priced food stalls
- Indoor sauna & jacuzzi
- Art installations, sculptures
- On site parking camping and facilities
