The new improved evolution light kit looks much the same as the old one in the dark i.e. Lights up the whole diabolo (except white and blue Finesse's which are not translucent) with 2 LED's pointing out to the cups and one directly out of the middle.

The new design sports a plastic shield which protects the whole unit from knocks and "salty climates" . Also now comes with 6 x rechargeable batteries that can be charged without removing the units via a nifty jack plug and splitter.

Each unit weighs 20g so a set increases your diabolo by 40g.

The rainbow effect is made up of a slow cycle (aprox 1/2 second on each colour) followed by a fast cycle (aprox 1/4 second on each colour). Each cycle repeats automatically a couple of times before switching speed. As there is a period of time when each LED colours shines 2 colours simultaneously you also get a mixing of colours as well as a disco/chase effect between the LED's.
