Kites

Too windy to juggle? Then get your kite out! Flying a kite is great fun whether you’re six or sixty and we’ve got the right kite to suit your age and style. As you should expect from Firetoys, we only have decent equipment, including the cheaper children’s kites – these fly and fly well. We also have more professional kites including sports kites for stunts and tricks and power kites for pulling buggies and boards (or just yourself!)

The single lines kids’ kites we stock come in a choice of fun designs for you to choose from. Fly a donkey, dolphin or clown to name a few of the unlikely things you can send soaring to the heavens. These kites are great fun for children of all ages.

Sport kites are designed for pulling stunts and tricks and we stock the best of HQ’s range including the Quickstep, Yukon and Bebop. These all have super-lightweight but strong carbon fibre/fibreglass frames and come in a choice of awesome designs. Whether you’re a beginner or more experienced flyer we’ve got the sports kite for you.

Power kites are used for pulling buggies and boards, though they’re a lot of fun to fly without those extras. We have a good range of beginner and intermediate power kites that range from 1.2m to 3.0m. The HQ Symphony Beach range are excellent entry-level power kites with the Beamer IV suitable for more the experienced.
