The Concentrate G2 Three-Piece Fire Staffs are the second generation of travel staffs from Australian manufacturers, Concentrate. We stock six sizes of these staffs; from 100cm to 172cm, which can be selected from the drop down menu above.

The G2 boasts a number of improvements on their first model:

-The rubber handle has lost its contours resulting in a staff with a flat profile that is much better for contact staff moves.

- The handle has also changed from fibreglass to aluminium, increasing the staff's rigidity.

- There are now two locking rings instead of one providing a more secure fixing mechanism.

The rest of the staff maintains the high quality you'd expect from Concentrate. The aluminium tubing has a coloured finish for that professional look and features threaded steel end caps. All sizes of these break-down fire staffs are fitted with 100mm wicks for large flames, and the wicks themselves are firmly bolted into place using three high quality screws for maximum durability.

Being travel staffs all these models can be split into three sections for ease of transportation. The locking system Concentrate uses is very advanced and prevents the parts from wobbling or rattling. A simple twist and click expands two rubber rings locking the parts in place.

The rubber handle is 30cm long and remains the same whichever size you choose. So what size should you choose?

The 100cm staff is great as a double staff and also as a single for shorter people or those who prefer small staffs.

The 132cm and 142cm models are medium sized and good as either single or double staffs, though shorter spinners might find the 142cm staffs awkward as doubles.

Any size above the 142cm starts to become a bit tricky as doubles, unless you're really tall. These bigger sizes are good for single spinning though, they are not too heavy meaning you won't tire quickly even when spinning fast.

As a contact staff, we'd recommend going for the biggest model you are comfortable with. This is because most of the weight on these Concentrate staffs comes from the handle. Centralised weight is not ideal for contact but the longer the staff, the more it counteracts this.
