Fire Swords

Fire swords make a spectacular addition to any fire show. However, due to the large flames these props are for professional and experienced fire performers only! We stock our own fire bokken which is one of the only fire swords around that can withstand full combat routines. We also stock Gora’s fire sword – an excellent piece with a ball end on the handle allowing swinging club moves to be incorporated to your routine.

Fire swords look great when used by a solo performer but they really come into their own when you have two or more performers in a combat routine. With a bit of martial arts experience and a lot of practise you can create some exciting and mesmerising performances.

Firetoys fire bokken is made from solid red oak and is strong enough to take repeated full contact hits. We’ve added a silicone heat shield above the handle to protect your hands from the flames. Full combat routines need to be well practised and you should be skilled with a non-fire bokken to avoid injuries.

Gora’s fire sword is lighter and shorter than the bokken allowing for faster moves and club spinning techniques. The fibreglass core is strong but we don’t recommend full contact performances with this prop.
