‘Poi Spinning’, by Michal Kahn, is the best-selling and most comprehensive book on poi available. It has sold thousands since its release and is still regarded as the poi spinner’s bible. It starts with the basics and teaches you how to do well-known tricks like the butterfly, three-beat weave and reels. Moving through intermediate moves and on to advanced poi you will also learn five-beat weaves, waist wraps and loads more.

‘Poi Spinning Basics’, by Pele, is one of the few DVDs dedicated to beginners covering weaves, turns and many more tricks.
