Walking Ladders

We have a range of ladders specifically designed for walking and balancing. We stock walking and balance ladders from Ramsay and Voltige, some of which are made from two pieces for the travelling performer or adjustable so you can change the height of them. All the ladders have strong rungs and rubber feet to aid tricks and come in a range of sizes with different numbers of rungs, from 5 to 8.

We have developed the Ramsay ladders with help from the manufacturer and customer feedback. After the mark 1 came the mark two which featured grooved rungs to aid grip. The mark 3 ladders kept these grooved rungs but we added a smooth top rung for comfort. All the Ramsay walking ladders have rubber feet, super strong rungs and are wider than your average ladder to help make steps a bit easier. We also do a two-piece Ramsay ladder to make it a bit easier to transport this large item. Ramsay ladders are without doubt some of the best balanced ladders you can buy.  

The Voltige adjustable walking ladder has an adjustable top rung. This is a high quality ladder with rubber knobs and strong rungs.

We strongly recommend wearing protective gear and a good pair of shoes or boots, particularly while you’re learning to use your walking ladder.
