Trapezes

Trapeze, the classic aerial circus prop, is enjoying an explosion in amateur public interest as more and more clubs and classes in aerial acrobatics spring up around the country. We stock the best trapezes in a range of rope lengths and bar widths from the best manufacturers in the world like Voltige, Barry and Trapeze Rigging. All the aerial acrobatics products we stock are fully safety tested and come with instructions and safety information.

 

Static trapezes are the most popular in our range. We stock narrow and wide bar trapezes with some designed for two people. These all come in a variety of rope lengths so you’re bound to find one that suits your training space. Some of these trapezes come with dressed ropes but most are undressed, leaving you to dress them yourself as you see fit.

 

Swinging trapezes require much more space and many more safety precautions so are less popular. This spectacular form of aerial circus is generally left to the professionals and we stock pro standard swinging trapezes from Barry and Voltige including ones with removable weights.

 

You can also find specials on our shelves such as the trapyra (a combination of lyra and trapeze) and double horizontal and vertical trapezes.

 

Of course, we have all the safety and rigging gear needed for installing and practising the art. Popular items include trapeze tape and carry bags. We also have books so you can learn new trapeze techniques whatever level you’re at, be it beginner, intermediate, or advanced and even if you want to learn double trapeze.
