It is flame, heat and fuel resistant so is just the thing for sewing wicks, removing the need for exposed metal. It's also great for making other fire props such as fire whips or for use in fire sculptures.

Value

I had hoped that fire resistant thread wouldn't burn, but when I tested it under a lighter it smoulders, blackens and snaps. Granted, the fire doesn't spread, but I was hoping for a thread that didn't break when near a flame. I guess I'm asking way too much.
It will still be useful, I'm sure.
